The weather in England is still dreadful and yet I, along with probably the whole country, am so ready for spring. So ready that I have undertaken the spring capsule wardrobe update – and boy did it need updating. I wrote this post in January with every intention of doing a bigger overhaul of my capsule, but being the picky person that I am, progress has been pretty slow. Then in came these beautiful COS pants.

The silhouette of these trousers, to me, is perfect. It’s feminine but not girly, elegant but comfortable. I’ve been obsessed with culottes for a while and when I spied these navy beauties with the perfectly tailored high waistline and thick ribbon tie… Let’s just say love at first sight does exist.

The cactus bomber jacket is also a (fairly) new addition. I discovered it whilst shopping in the Zara kids’ section for clothes for my two-year-old sister – I happened to be looking for a bomber jacket and the cactus oddly resembled JEB, the cactus we have at home. I think that’s what they call destiny. Never mind the fact that according to Zara, I’ve managed to grow to the grand size of a 13-year-old.

And finally, there’s this fantastic camera bag from THEIT bags. Jack and I did a video on this bag on our YouTube channel and I’m planning a full on What’s In My Bag post on it, but the gist of it is that it’s the best and also best-looking camera bag I think I’ve ever come across. I’ve had it for over a month now and couldn’t love it more. The lovely people at THEIT have offered you guys a $35 discount on any purchase with the code LOVEEJ35 – so definitely go take a peek!

There is no shame in getting something from the kids section =o) I find myself looking there too and recently found a great deal in the kids section and saved myself $200!

This bomber looks so stylish on you! Thankfully, the weather in the UK has now changed since this blog post – though I totally felt your frustration at such cold in May earlier this month, haha!!
