Dressing up pyjamas for summer days

Just when we thought summer might not happen at all this year (at least here in England), this week came along and was absolutely glorious. So glorious that our London apartment is insufferable if we don’t keep every door and window open whilst we’re in the house. And when any contact with your skin feels like it might tip you over the edge of boiling to death, you want as little material on you as possible. This gorgeous Oysho (pajama) top, with its delicate details and questionable coverage, definitely understands my problem.
Combine that with the ultimate un-sexy mom jean and a dressing gown posing as a cardigan to dress the lace down a tad (at least when things cool down in the evenings) and you have yourself a casual winner. Also perfect for when you don’t quite trust the weather to stay as glorious as it may seem.
These photos were taken on a beautiful day at the Grand Mosque in Paris a few weeks ago, when the sunshine was a little bit more rare. The mosque is stunning, with its intricate tiling, beautiful stone carving and wonderful symmetries. If you’re ever in Paris, I’d definitely recommend you stop by and have a glass of their soothing sweet mint tea.

go to site I’m the worst at dealing with the heat. I will hide inside ALL DAY to avoid sweating to death. I couldn’t even tell you were wearing a pyjama top until you said so! Loving the cardigan as well; it looks sooo comfy -Audrey | Brunch at Audrey’s

This black top is complete perfection and I love the lace inserts. This is such a beautiful way of bringing nightwear into daylight hours!
